Two major types of fiction developed in the 18^th century: the memoir novel and the epistolary novel. In the next three videos, guided by Audrey Faulot, we will first discuss what the memoir novel is and what its literary resources are, before focusing on two major authors of the genre: Prévost and Marivaux.
